After the trade talks between the European Union and the United States were over European online bingo operates were surprised when the US Trade Representative asked for a postponement to the ongoing talks between the two trading blocks.

The European Union requested the talks with the US in regards to online gambling and WTO policies following the complaints that were made last year from European gambling companies that said the US online gambling policies were unfair, damaging and inconsistent.

Online bingo operators are going to be amongst other online gaming companies that are hoping to receive compensation from the United States or a change in the policy that is currently restricting non US gaming companies from accessing the US market.
