PartyGaming built an online bingo website to correspond with a bingo television show that aired in the United Kingdom. Bingo has been increasing in popularity and the show should have done well but after just a few short months, the show has been canceled.

During the first stages of the show it seemed as though PartyGaming would see good revenue from the show but as the weeks progressed the show started going downhill and PartyGaming made the decision to cancel.

ITV was producing the show for PartyGaming and a spokesperson for the company commented on the cancellation saying: "It was an interesting experiment but the viewing figures were not high enough and while the participation levels were OK in terms of people playing online, the numbers who actually wanted to play for cash were minuscule. The numbers just didn't add up in commercial terms.”

PartyGaming is most definitely taking a loss with the cancelation as they had extended many resources to create the online bingo site along with the television. The Company must now decide what to do in the Bingo market and also how to recoup their losses.
