Gala Bingo started a new promotion a few months ago called Nectar Millionaire. Players could play online bingo at Gala and they would be entered into the Nectar Millionaire contest. The winner would receive one million pounds that could be spent by using nectar points. The contest has now found a winner in Joan Scales from Dartmouth.

Joan works as a lunch lady at a local school and she loves to play bingo. Joan plays on Gala Bingo and each time she played during the promotion she was entered into the drawing. One lucky trip to the site resulted in Joan winning the large prize.

Joan commented on her win: “It was actually my birthday when I got the call to say I’d won, and I really couldn’t believe what I was hearing. It was just an unbelievable prize and the best birthday surprise ever! To have one million Nectar points is just amazing – we’ve already treated ourselves to some new clothes, video games for our daughter and we’re planning on using some of the points to re-decorate our house. To add to this, we’re hoping to book some flights for a family holiday to Spain – it’s just simply made our year!”

The contest took place from November 24th through December 24th but Joan just found out last week that she had won. As the winner Joan has one million nectar points that can be used to buy goods and services from the Nectar website.
