Sally Finch of Hamilton, Australia was the first time winner of $10,000 from playing National Bingo Night at home, while playing along with the contestants on the nationally aired show. As contestants play on the television show, National Bingo Night, readers of the Sunday Herald Times also get a chance to play while watching at home. Every week the Sunday Herald Times includes cards that can be played while watching the show and matching numbers that are called on the National Bingo Night program. Readers much match five numbers in the shaded area of their card and can instantly win $100 by going online and claiming their prize. Then they are entered to win the grand prize of $10,000.
That is exactly what happened to Sally Finch, mother of 2. A very happy Ms. Finch said "This is the first thing I have ever won, it is great. I am very excited." So far it is her intention to buy new curtains and put the rest away for her daughters’ education fund.
All of Australia will have a new way to spend their Sunday nights thanks to the Sunday Herald Times and National Bingo Night, there still are 9 jackpots left to be won.
