Sujata Chaudhry of Middleborough is addicted to online bingo. So much so that she racked up major debt on her credit cards and debit card. Chaudhry would play online bingo every night due to her addiction and it drove her to steal money from her employees to fund her habit.

Chaudhry stole thousands of dollars from NETA training charity in just fifteen months to fuel her habit. However it looks as though Chaudhry will have to pay the money back and she will be able to do so as she has just inherited money and a home from her father. The prosecutor in the case stated he was aware that Chaudhry had come into some money.

Chaudhry was working at the NETA in the administration department when she stole the money from block bookings for training courses. She was first under suspicion in September 2007 and then again in March 2009. She had pled guilty to three charges of fraud by abuse of position. The judge told Chaudhry that she is much involved if not addicted to online bingo and that she needed to get help.
