Mecca Bingo Employees take to the Skies for Charity
The sky is definitely not the limit for employees of Mecca Bingo. The Bingo Company is set to take part in a simultaneous sky diving jump all across the country this September in the name of charity. Mecca Bingo has already begun taking donations to help fund the Whizz Kidz Charity with a pledge to raise at the very least £250,000 by the end of this year.

Whizz Kidz Charity is an organization that helps disabled children lead a more independent life. The organization helps the children receive the proper mobility equipment, advice and training to suit their needs. The charity runs mostly off of donations so any funds they receive is a great help.

Mecca Bingo has already passed the 100,000 mark and is getting closer to their goal daily. Several members of the staff from many of the Mecca Bingo clubs across the country are getting set to participate in a simultaneous sky dive to raise money for the charity. The dive is a sponsored event. One employee from the Mecca Bingo club in Blackpool, Mike Travis had this to say about the dive: "We've been holding a number of fund raising events over the past months and this is probably one of the most exciting and certainly the most nerve-racking. Colleagues, club members, friends and family have all been extremely generous so far with their donations.”

It will be interesting to see how much more money Mecca Bingo will raise in the future especially the closer it gets to the dive. The dive itself is an exciting concept especially when you factor in that several people from different bingo clubs all across the country will participating at the same time.
