Largest Bingo House World Record Attempt This Weekend at NASCAR Race
NASCAR is known for bringing in large crowds to watch the action unfold on the track. Race fans come in the thousands to see their favorite racer possibly win the race and maybe their least favorite will fall behind. With the excitement and thrill that NASCAR brings their fans, who would have thought they would ever play Bingo at an event? Well, that’s exactly what is going to happen this weekend, when the Auto Club Speedway and San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino come together. The two groups are hoping to break the world record for the largest Bingo House in the world. The attempt will take place on August 31st during the Pepsi 500 NASCAR race. All the race fans will be given a free bingo ticket and the race track will suddenly become an outdoor bingo hall. With so many race fans set to attend the race, it should not be difficult to break
the record.
The attempt is being called “Race to the Record” and tens of thousands of race fans are expected to participate. A drawing will take place with $20,000 in cash prizes to be won. Winning tickets in the Bingo round will be entered into the drawing.
San Manuel first won the Largest Bingo House world record title in 2006 at Dodger Stadium, but lost the record in 2007 when a group in Columbia outnumbered their previous record. The Executive Director for San Manuel, Steve Lengel, stated: “We’re all fired up about our upcoming record breaking and we’re ready to put the pedal to the metal.
