Just before Christmas Gala Coral, the owner of Gala Bingo launched their second bingo website called Minxy Bingo. The Minxy website was launched with little publicity from Gala Coral. The company did not release a press statement announcing the website’s opening or use any other method of advertising.

Gala Coral uses Virtue Fusion Software to run the Minxy website and runs the website with their Gala Division. This is an odd move as Gala Coral has their technology platform that has powered the Gala Bingo website. The Gala Bingo website has been estimated to have 33% of the UK’s online bingo players playing on the website.

But as the online bingo market has grown, Gala Coral has to come up with new ways to compete, now enter Minxy Bingo. It could be that Minxy is just a test being performed by Gala Coral as the site has only five sites to be affiliates and is using an affiliate system by Income Access rather than their own.

It seems as though they are testing the waters and if they are successful than Minxy Bingo would most likely begin to operate using the same technologies that the successful Gala Bingo website has been using for the past few years.
