It was recently announced that NetPlayTV has gained a license to broadcast a twenty four hour channel on Freeview. The new channel will be available in early January and viewers will be able to tune in to channel forty eight to get their bingo fix.

NetPlayTV has offered bingo programming before but never in a twenty four hour time block. Since the show will be running for an ongoing period then more games and variety will be able to be delivered by the company.

NetPlayTV will be broadcasting their Supercasino website and Live Bingo. The set date for broadcast is January 2009. NetPlayTV will be able to reach a broad audience as Freeview has viewers in more than fifteen million homes and they supply TV’s to more than eighty percent of the homes in the United Kingdom.

The Chief Executive Officer of NetPlayTV, Martin Higginson commented on the move: “This is a major milestone for our business. To secure a dedicated channel to broadcast our services is a real achievement for the whole team. We will now be able to drive people to our Freeview channel 48 and thus build loyalty in this destination.”
