Coatbridge Produces Two Bingo Jackpot Winners
In the town on Coatbride, near Glasgow, bingo players have been steadily hitting the jackpot. Last March, a woman broke the world record for the biggest bingo win by winning £1.2 million pounds on the platinum jackpot prize. Now another bingo player from the same establishment has won the jackpot as well.

An elderly lady, who wishes not to be named, was playing bingo at the Faraday Retail Park in Coatbridge, when she won £160,250 on the platinum jackpot and then she won the regional prize, the zone prize and the house prize making her earnings jump up to £168,844.

“I am still not over the shock yet,” she said. “But I am delighted, over the moon. I have been playing bingo since I was old enough and started going with my Mum. I have always played at the same Club, it was the County then. It was really strange. The date was the 27th of the 7th and the last two numbers I needed for the full house were 7 and 27,” she added. The lady also said she has three daughters and six grandchildren who she plans on spending her new found wealth on.

This makes the second large jackpot win for Coatbridge in just a few short months. The first large win took place back in March, when Soraya Lowell won a large sum on the jackpot. The platinum jackpot is set up so that it is won on a regular basis and apparently it can be won regularly in Coatbridge. These past wins will certainly bring more business to Coatbridge and possibly a new jackpot winner. August 31st will be the date of the next platinum jackpot play off will take place.
