Bingo Advertisements banned by Facebook
The advertising policies at popular online social website Facebook have been changed and now the site will no longer be allowing bingo and other gambling products to be advertised. The site has listed bingo and gambling products on their list of ‘morally unacceptable’ products.

Several items are included on the list to be banned from advertisements on the site, which is frequented by teenagers and young people. The list includes: bingo, poker, sports books, casino, tobacco products, firearms, adult toys, spy cameras, pyramid schemes and nudity, just to name a few.

Even though the social networking site says they are banning the bingo advertising, the site still has bingo in several areas. Anyone can type in the word bingo into the Facebook search box and they will come up with bingo applications to play the game as well as pages dedicated to the game. So it makes one wonder, is Facebook going to ban all of these pages as well or just the advertisements. Only time will tell, so we will just have to see what will happen in the future.
