Breakthrough Breast Cancer and The Bingo Association team up to create the campaign and have bingo clubs across the country turn pink for Bingo for Breakthrough Week which takes place October 19th-25th 2008. Crown Bingo is an online bingo website that was established in 2005. As an internet bingo provider, the website has 90 ball bingo and mini games that are created for the UK market. Crown Bingo has now announced they have signed a partnership with Alison Hammond, a TV personality from daytime television. Alison will become the new face for the website. (26/09)

In California a bill has passed through legislation that would allow larger charities to offer bingo games online. This bill is expected to look over by governor Arnold Schwarzenegger very soon and if signed it would go into effect. Security Guard Shot during Bingo Club Robbery
This past Sunday night the Gala Bingo Club in Walsgrave, Coventry was robbed. A masked gang entered the bingo club around 10:45 on Sunday night and the security was shot in the process. Though they attempted to rob the club, the gunman ran away empty handed. (11/09)
Mecca Bingo Apologizes to Taxi Driver
Ian Mann is a forty year old taxi driver from Norwich. Mann suffers from a chronic bowel condition called ulcerative colitis. Because of his condition, Mr. Mann has a card that shows he suffers from the illness so he can use any bathroom when needed. Recently Mr. Mann asked to use a bathroom at a Mecca Bingo Club in Norwich and he was refused. (08/09)

Woman Robbed After Leaving Bingo Hall
Most bingo players do not imagine that they will be robbed when coming or going from their favorite bingo hall. Many can learn from what happended at a bingo hall this past weekend. A woman escaped a harrowing experience this past weekend in Chorley, United Kingdom. The forty year old woman was leaving her local bingo hall when she was attacked and robbed of £300 in cash.
