Kezia Obama is United States President Barack Obama’s stepmother. Kezia recently worked with Gala Bingo to create an online bingo game to celebrate President Obama’s inauguration. The game was called Mrs. Obama Bingo and it went live on January 14th. The game raised money for charity and now Kezia has presented the charity with a check for £20,000.The game raised £10,000 in just ten days time and Gala Bingo matched that amount which brought the total to 20,000. Kezia recently presented the check to the Sue Ryder Care Hospice in Nettlebed. Kezia was quoted as saying: “It is great that I have been able to use my good fortune to help Sue Ryder Care thanks to Gala Bingo.”
Kezia will now look forward to visiting President Obama in the summer months. She stated: "Barack said he was sorry it was so cold. Then he said he wanted me to come back to Washington and stay with him and his family in the summer when it is warmer. I am surprised and so excited to think I will be staying there. It’s too good to be true."
